This is an unpresentation. This is my opportunity to talk to you about the creative commons and have a discussion about how it's developing in New Zealand. I had some free time. I looked at volunteer opportunities. They didn't suit me. One of the things I started doing was creating compilation CDs of Creative Commons media, (In the tradition of the mix tape) (play mix tape?) and distribute on a website called “newitmake.org”. Played with Amazon S3 and bit torrent.

What is the site for? A site for unpolished writing, keeping notes and random thoughts. Why not use this wiki for that? This is for writing for more of an artistic effect, to explore different ways of presentation. A blog like format, but also to explore linking different pages and external resources.

After a 3 year absence I came back to the States and made a trip through the Southwest, which is the part of America I possibly love the most. July 25th Landed in the afternoon, so glad to get off that plane. Parents staying at the Hilton. The Cubs are playing the Cards. Noemi takes us to La Paz Mexican restaurant. 26th Noemi and I go on the Hollywood homes tour, and to LACMA and then to Santa Cruz later in the evening. We ate at a place called Rush St. and also went to a nice hotel bar near there and listened to some live music, a singer and piano player.
